Early diagnostics of breast diseases:
Aspiration biopsy of cyst formations guided by USG – under local anesthesia a cell sample is taken from the formation with a thin needle for the cytological examination.
Core biopsy guided by USG/MG (stereotaxis) – under local anesthesia a tissue sample is taken with a special needle for the histological examination. If the pathology is seen only on mammography, Core biopsy (taking tissue samples) is performed under the guidance of mammography. This method is called stereotaxis.
Vacuum biopsy guided by USG/MG – under local anesthesia a large tissue sample can be taken from a suspicious area of the breast. Local anesthesia is performed anew before taking each sample. This is important in case of certain types of micro calcification, small formations or diffuse tissue areas. Vacuum technologies ensure complete vacuum in the breast not allowing biopsied area to bleed.
