Members of the Latvian Health Tourism Cluster, in cooperation with the "Latvian Resort Association", began establishing their slogan/brand last year and also began work on creating their own web-site, thus implementing one of the cluster’s five main areas of focus. After wide ranging discussions within the cluster, an agreement was made on a new slogan/brand that is visually pleasing, easy to understand, as well as informative. In the end of the Latvian Health Tourism Cluster decided on the following slogan/brand - "green land of health". The cluster’s logo has been created to look like a heartbeat, with the colour depicting Latvia’s clean eco-system, pristine lakes, green forests and the medicinal natural resources that Latvia’s nature provides, which gives the country’s health tourism products high added value. On January 16 of this year, the cluster’s slogan/brand/logo was confirmed. At the same time, there has also been active work in creating the cluster’s new web-site, taking into account various suggestions on making it as easy to use as possible, while at the same time functional and of high-quality. The web-site will be available in three languages – Latvian, English and Russian. The web-site itself will provide an abundance of information on Latvia’s resort cities, as well as the health services they provide. Last year, the "Latvian Resort Association", in cooperation with the Jurmala City Council, Riga Stradins University, several local governments, as well as several Latvian hospitals, rehabilitation centers, sanatoriums, resort hotels, and organizations and businesses operating in the tourism, medical and cosmetics sectors, came together to create the Latvian Health Tourism Cluster. The cluster is made up of a wide spectrum of businesses offering health tourism products and services throughout Latvia – from surgery, medical rehabilitation, resort medical treatments, spa and wellbeing, to ecological cosmetics and even a medical university.
